WHAT IS CLIMATE CHANGE?
Read the following to understand what climate change is.
Climate change involves long-term changes in temperatures and weather patterns.
While these changes can occur naturally, human activities, especially since the 1800s, have become the primary cause, mainly constituting burning fossil fuels which cause all pollution.
What is it?

02
CAUSES
Keep reading to understand what is behind climate change.
1. Electricity
Most electricity is produced by burning fossil fuels, which releases greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide, contributing significantly to global emissions.
2. Deforestation
Cutting down forests for agriculture or other purposes releases stored carbon and reduces the Earth's ability to absorb carbon dioxide, increasing global emissions.
3. Transport
The use of fossil fuels in vehicles, ships, and planes contributes a significant portion of global carbon dioxide emissions, especially from road transport.
... and many more such as residential energy use, manafacturing goods and food production.

CONSEQUENCES
Finally, what does climate change do?
1. Heat Waves
Global temperatures have been consistently rising, with the last decade being the hottest on record. This increase leads to more frequent heatwaves, heat-related illnesses, and escalates the risk of wildfires, particularly in the Arctic, which is warming at an accelerated rate.
2. Intensified Storms
As global temperatures rise, storms are becoming more frequent and severe. Warmer oceans provide more energy for cyclones, hurricanes, and typhoons, leading to destructive storms that devastate communities and cause significant economic losses.
....and many more such as the extinction of many animal species and rising of sea levels.
